Valuable Lessons We Learned From Indiana Jones

Perhaps one of the greatest fictional adventurers of all time, Indiana Jones certainly entertained throughout his adventures, but he also taught us some valuable lessons in the process. Here are three of the many valuable life lessons we learned from Indiana Jones, they may just be of use in your own life.

It pays to be prepared. He may have been an adventurer, but let’s not forget that Dr. Jones was also a historian, linguist, archeologist, and college professor. No stranger to reading and research, Jones had the brain to go with the braun, and his extensive knowledge and dedication meant he was prepared for just about anything that came his way.

Sometimes things go wrong even when you’re prepared. Well, you can’t really prepare for everything after all, can you? Whether it was being chased by a giant boulder or riding a nuclear explosion in an old refrigerator, sometimes circumstances were beyond Indy’s control. But did he lose his cool? Heck no, he rolled with the punches!

Sometimes the school of life is every bit as important as actual school. Dr. Jones may have dedicated his life to research and academia, but he was well aware that every now and then you’ve gotta step outside of the classroom and learn some lessons out in the real world. You don’t necessarily have to equip yourself with a whip to do it, but it couldn’t hurt.
